Living Passion

images-4We all want to live our lives with more enthusiasm and passion.  Being excited about what we do every day and sharing our gifts with the world cultivates more energy.  Passion is energy. It’s the power that comes from focusing on what really excites you and is natural as breathing. We each have a calling and that calling for everyone is as unique as a fingerprint. This calling (or dharma) is what leads you to your passion. Discover what ignites your passion. That’s your real job here on earth. Let it light you up and then find a way to share this energy with others. Honor your calling (living your life’s true purpose) and you find will happiness and success.

Everyone has a special purpose in life, which is also called dharma. We each possess a unique talent with a unique way of expressing it. For every unique talent and expression of that gift, there are unique needs just awaiting us to fulfill them. When we offer our minds and service to others, we experience the ecstacy and exaltation of our Spirit. By asking ourselves, how can I help? How can I serve using my unique talents? We are able to move beyond the ego into the realm of True Spirit, that part of awareness in which we experience our connection with the whole universe. Connecting with our dharma makes our hearts sing, and time fly. We live our lives with passion and great enthusiasm. A life lived with passion brings with it many benefits ~ A brain that builds new pathways toward better habits; A mind that remains sharp and active; Relationships that are rich and deeply rewarding.

When you are passionate about something, we have a positive attitude and embrace each day with a new outlook. Finding our dharma and taking a passionate interesting enable the who mind/body system to be dynamic and rejuvenating. This level of self-awareness allows us to be spontaneous and free, open to surprise and more in step with the rhythm of the cosmos. As we get ready to begin our meditation, let’s contemplate our centering thought: I live my life with passion and enthusiasm.

Let’s begin. Have a seat and close your eyes. Inhale…and exhale…slowly and deeply. Start to repeat today’s mantra silently to yourself: 
Om Varunam Namah. 
My life is in harmony with cosmic law. Continue repeating the mantra mentally. If you have thoughts, hear noises or feel sensations in your body, just repeat the mantra.

Meditate for 10-15+ minutes.

Inhale and exhale several times – deeply and slowly. Please open your eyes slowly. Throughout the day consider the centering thought:  I live my life with passion and enthusiasm.  I live my life with passion and enthusiasm….Namaste.

MINDFUL MOMENT: Begin to connect with your true life’s purpose. Before each meditation, ask yourself, “How can I help? How can I serve?” Then, listen to your heart for the answer.
